"Radio and Women’s Empowerment in Francophone West Africa" shortlisted for prize

Emma Heywood's (2023) Radio and Women’s Empowerment in Francophone West Africa has been shortlisted for an award by the Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association (MeCCSA). One of three works shortlisted for the "Monograph of the Year", Radio and Women's Empowerment in Francophone West Africa is available as an open access work in the Palgrave Studies of Communication for Social Change Series (edited by Associate Professor Elske van de Fliert and Associate Professor Pradip Thomas). The award winners will be announced in September 2024.
