In July 2023 a group of University of Queensland (UQ) students travelled to Indonesia's Jambi province as part of the Peatland community Engagement And Transdisciplinary Learning – Indonesia (PEATLI) project. This was the fourth group to visit Indonesia as part of the project which is led by Centre for Communication and Social Change (CfCSC) Director and UQ academic, Associate Professor Elske van de Fliert.
