'Winter Research Scholar' joins Centre, July 2020

In July the Centre for Communication and Social Change welcomed a new 'Winter Research Scholar' to the team.

Allyson Timms is a fourth-year student in a Dual Bachelor of Communications and Journalism majoring in public relations at the University of Queensland. Allyson’s research interests include communication for social change, transdisciplinary learning, and tropical peatland restoration in Indonesian communities. She was a recent participant in the Participatory community Engagement And Transdisciplinary Learning - Indonesia (PEATLI) project where she worked together with the Peatland Restoration Agency (BRG) to develop a Participatory Situation Analysis (PSA) report and a Community Engagement Strategy (CES).
