Researcher biography

Sam Regi is a journalism researcher examining how resilience is shaped, circulated, and experienced in the aftermath of Australian disasters. His project combines critical analysis with practice-led fieldwork, including long-form audio interviews, photographic and multimedia storytelling, and community-centred documentation. He also teaches journalism and leads a practice specialising in in-depth interviews.
